Schuyler 'Sky' Tate is now Blue SPD Ranger. He wanted to be Red SPD Ranger just like his father. He found out he is SPD Blue Ranger. He frustrated he wants Red SPD Ranger but instead Blue SPD Ranger. The Red SPD Ranger is goes to Jack Landors. Merlock is responsible for Sky's dad's death. Jack gave his morpher to Sky to become Red SPD Ranger/Battlizated Armor to battle Merlock. Sky gave Jack's morpher back to Jack. He was so proud to be blue ranger.

Sky is top on B Squad on weapons and fighting, and believes he should be the Red Ranger just like his father. He is neat and precise about everything he does, and plays things by the rules. Unfortunately, his pride gets in the way. Commander Cruger picks him to be the Blue Ranger. It has been stated that Sky is the son of a "legendary" Red Ranger. In the episode "Walls", we see a picture of a young Sky sitting next to a man in a Red Time Force Ranger uniform with an SPD badge. Contrary to popular belief, the man in the picture is clearly not Wesley Collins, the Red Time Force Ranger of Power Rangers: Time Force. However, whether or not it was intended to be Wesley Collins portrayed by a different actor, or the identity of the individual otherwise, is not made clear. www.reference.com/browse/wiki/Schuyler_%22Sky%22_Tate

Sky Tate
Schuyler "Sky" Tate, played by Chris Violette, is the Blue S.P.D. Ranger. A strict, no-nonsense, by-the-book son of a former Red Ranger, Sky was one of the original B-Squad cadets. Sky was on the fast track to become the Red S.P.D. Ranger when Sky and his fellow cadets Bridge and Syd arrested a pair of homeless thieves. The two thieves were offered a chance to join the B-Squad after the A-Squad, a group of Power Rangers who were held a higher rank than Sky, Syd, and Bridge, went missing in action during a mission. When giving the now five member B-Squad their respective Power Ranger identities, Sky's superior Chief Anubis "Doggie" Cruger shocked Sky by giving the leadership role of Red Ranger to one of the thieves, Jack Landors, and gave Sky the Blue Power Ranger identity, much to Sky's own horror. Sky has since acknowledged Jack's leadership.
Like the rest of the S.P.D. Rangers, Sky possesses super-powers. Sky's power is the ability to create a mini-force field that he can use to protect himself and block objects from hitting him.
His SPD number is 2. [edit]
Notes
It has been stated that Sky is the son of a "legendary" Red Ranger. In the episode "Walls", we see a picture of a young Sky sitting next to a man in a Red Time Force Ranger uniform with an S.P.D. badge. The episodes "Reflection Parts 1 & 2" did not share any additional into the identity of Sky's father, only that Mirloc was responsible for his death.
Sky is the first Ranger to temporarily borrow another Ranger's whole power. Jack gave him the use of his Red Ranger power to defeat Mirloc and avenge the death of his father. Oddly enough, this temporary transfer was made by switching morphers (leading to the possible conclusion that anyone who can activate the morpher can use any Ranger's powers at any given time).

Reflection Part 2 Mirloc is a criminal with the ability to travel through reflective surfaces. He was responsible for the murder of Sky's father. He first appears when Sky goes to question him about duplicate aliens, and in exchange for something for his collection, he tells the Rangers about the copycat criminal Slate. Later, Mirloc reveals that he collects bad memories, and causes Sky to cry when he mocks the story of Sky's father's death. Using the tear, Mirloc escapes confinement. Traveling to Earth, Mirloc offers his services to Emperor Gruumm, who commands him to capture B-Squad and the Omega Ranger. Successfully capturing B-Squad in his mirrors, Mirloc battles Omega, who then breaks the mirrors. Sky then borrows the Red S.P.D. Ranger Morpher, and with the Battlizer contains Mirloc. Afterwards, Mirloc is sent to a containment facility on Verinox 12 where there isn't any sunlight, so there is no reflections for him to escape through. Jack lends Sky his Morpher to take Merlock in as revenge for his father. Sky says SPD Emergency Sky morphs into the red ranger. He uses the battlizer to contain Merlock. Sky did it with a smile Sky accepts Commander Cruger's apology. Then Sky gives Jack back his Morpher. Comments: * Watching Blue SPD Ranger become Red SPD Ranger for a scene that's a Power Ranger first.

Recognition Sky is working in the Command Center late at night. But R.I.C. keeps bothering him, because he wants him to play ball. Wootox claims that they switched back, but Jack has an idea. He throws the ball to R.I.C. R.I.C. returns the ball to the real Sky, and Wootox loses his composure. The other Rangers hold down Wootox as Sky takes his body back. www.rangercentral.com/episodes/ep551/eppic23.jpg[/img]Sky morphs into the Blue Ranger and joins the team to take down Wootox. The Rangers fire the Canine Cannon and contain Wootox once and for all. Later, Sky promised R.I.C. that he'd play ball with him until he gets tired, but Bridge points out that R.I.C. won't ever get tired. www.rangercentral.com/episodes/ep551/eppic26.jpg[/img]Sky accidently breaks something and the two of them run out of the room and down the hall. Comments: When Sky and Jack are in the Command Center and the alarms go off, the other Rangers rush in and immediately morph and jump into the Zord tubes.. How do they know what the emergency is? When the other Rangers are trying to figure out which is the real Sky, Sydney says, "It sounds like Sky?" Considering she was one of the ones that knew him the longest, she should be able to tell that Sky was acting completely out of character. Why didn't Bridge bother to use his psychic abilities to find out who was the real Sky? Yet they leave Sky's fate in the hands of R.I.C.?

Schuyler "Sky" Blake Sky is the son of the original Red Power Ranger. He'd like to follow in his father's footsteps and holds it against Jack that he was given the job instead. Sky is passionate and has lived his entire life to fulfill his father's dream to become the Red Ranger. He is neat, orderly and precise and treats his body like a temple. He eats nothing but healthy food and is always ready to explain the benefits of a healthy lifestyle to anyone…whether they're willing to listen or not! He'd rather hone his Ranger skills than have fun, which means he doesn't have very many friends. He also needs to lighten up… his only sense of humor seeps out when he is doing battle. SPECIAL SKILLS - Profiling Criminals WEAPON - Electric Police Baton and Knukle Duster which transforms into a Blue Rifle ZORD - Hovering Jet Plane GENETIC POWER - FORCE FIELDS - Can create Force Fields with his mind.

Recognition
Sky does some computer work off duty, but is interrupted by RIC. Who wants to play ball with him. Sky isn't interested. Jack interrupts and itrratates Sky. The alarm sounds off and the Rangers rush into duty to fight a dangerous criminal. Who is armed with a robot. Using the Delta Command Megazord they are able to destory the robot. The team aprehends the cirminal ( Wootox)and Sky personally takes him to his cell ( Cruger wants him for questioning) The criminal is intrigued by the Delta Command Megazords. He uses a strange power to switch bodies with Sky and locks Sky up in his old body ( not before breaking the translater, rendering Sky unable to communicate). Fake Sky tries to find the Cockpit to the Delta Command Megazord. He accidently winds up in Syd's and Z's room. Syd is in the room singing and gets mad at Sky beking there. WootoxWootox is able to defeat Cruger and gain control of the cockpit. The others are outside of the base looking for the cirminal. Sky ( who is outside as well) realizes that the criminal intends to do and races to get back in SPD Headquaters. He dodges his friend's attacks and makes it isn't the bruilding as the megazord is being formed. The criminal prepares to use the zord to destory New Tech City. Sky stops him and the two end up outside the zord. The other Rangers come to Sky's aid and are about the do away with tthe criminal ( or so they think). Cruger interrupts and tells them that Sky and the criminal switched bodies. The criminal lies and says they switched back. Jack has a plan to sort everything out. He tosses a ball to RIC. Ric goes to Sky's body but knows its not him. He gives the ball to the real Sky. The Rangers know the truth and help Sky get his body back. Once Sky has his body back they use the Canine Cannon to capture Wootox in a data card. Sky rewards RIC buy agreeing to play with him till he gets tired. Bridge sees Sky playing and points out that RIC will never get tired. Something gets broken and the two Rangers run. just smiles and leaves. Later Syd and Z confront him and tell him not to do that ever again. Sky finds a way to escape the cell. Cruger educates the team on the criminal and fake Sky thinks they should do away with him now. Alarms blare as Sky's escape is alerted. The Rangers go looking for him , Fake Sky separates himself from the team to look for the cockpit. He meets the real Sky. Sky tries to switch bodies back but is interupted by others. Sky manages to get away. Fake Sky slipts up from the group again in search of the cockpit. Fake Sky ends up near the cockpit and fights Dr. Manx. Cruger interrupts and knows he is not the real Sky.

Cruger says that the team needs a new leader. He calls Sky forward and ask him what he would think about Syd being leader. Sky says he would accept anyone Cruger chose to lead. Cruger names Sky the new Red Ranger and says that his father would be proud. Sky is dressed as the Red SPD Ranger and Bridge aparently has become the new Blue Ranger. They give some old colthes to Jack. They say that they intend to keep in touch with Jack. Piggy has decided to work with Jack. The Rangers get called into battle. Sky leads the team as the morph. And the episode ends with the SPD graphic.
